Dema Justicia, the student council of the Faculty of Law at Universitas Gadjah Mada, is structured around a clear and purposeful leadership framework. Under the banner of Kabinet Cakrawala Perubahan, the organization brings together a dedicated board and nine specialized departments that each carry distinct responsibilities. The structure is designed so that advocacy, intellectual growth, and student welfare all receive focused attention. Every unit within the council works in coordination, ensuring that student aspirations are not only heard but actively translated into meaningful action across the faculty and beyond.

At the helm of Dema Justicia sits the Ketua, who guides the organization's strategic direction and overall vision. Supporting this leadership role is the Sekretaris Jenderal, responsible for administrative coordination and ensuring that internal governance runs smoothly and transparently. The Wakil Ketua Bidang Eksternal manages outreach efforts, building partnerships and maintaining relationships with external institutions and communities. Together, this leadership trio forms the backbone of the council, setting priorities and enabling the various departments to execute their programs effectively throughout the academic year.

The nine departments within Dema Justicia cover a broad spectrum of student life and institutional engagement. From education and scientific development to writing and publication, each department is tasked with cultivating a vibrant intellectual climate within the faculty. Other units focus on student services, activities, and events, ensuring that the campus experience is both enriching and inclusive. This departmental structure allows the council to respond to diverse student needs while maintaining a unified organizational identity rooted in service, integrity, and academic excellence.

One of the council's key functions is facilitating meaningful dialogue between students and faculty leadership. Through regular hearing sessions with the dekanat, Dema Justicia ensures that student voices are represented in important institutional decisions. These structured consultations provide a formal channel for raising concerns, proposing initiatives, and shaping the direction of faculty policy. By maintaining open lines of communication, the council strengthens the relationship between the student body and the administration, fostering a culture of mutual respect, transparency, and collaborative problem-solving.

Beyond its internal structure, Dema Justicia actively engages with the broader community through outreach programs, publications, and digital content. The council produces podcasts, articles, and social media updates that highlight student activities, policy commentary, and reflections on pressing social issues. This commitment to public engagement reflects the organization's belief that law students have a responsibility to connect academic learning with real-world advocacy. Through these efforts, Dema Justicia continues to build an engaged intellectual community that extends its influence far beyond the classroom walls.
